Getting into Cupola was like a dream come true for me. All my life I had planned to work for a restaurant management firm or any other food related enterprise which could satisfy my hunger of becoming the most popular connoisseur in town. But two days into Cupola, I realized it was not exactly what I had expected. People at the head office also known as RSC did not talk about food, food and food all day long. I did not have to come up with new recipes every day, and was far away from serving oven hot food to customers. The smiles which I wanted to bring on the faces of people by treating them more like guests rather than customers was becoming a distant reality for me. Although it did bring me down initially, but with the help and guidance of a few people I was soon able to become a part of the Cupola family. In fact I realized that sometimes you get more than what you expect: In my case I received several challenging projects engaging me into one of the toughest jobs of restaurant revival and with that I traveled the most thrilling rollercoaster ride in my work history. The experiences at Cupola have taught me patience, respect for subordinates and have invoked the passion of creativity in me. This place taught me that money is not the most important thing in life, and I will remember this lesson forever.
At Cupola, I think the HR department must be given due credit to provide all kinds of assistance to the internees; I would particularly thank Mr Shahan Ali khan for helping me out with my projects including the focus group session where he aided me to derive the best results out of such a session. I keenly express my gratitude to Mr Richard Sparkes for making my experience the most memorable and learning at any organization, I have ever worked yet. I am also grateful to Mr Rasheed, Mr Fareed, Mr Azeem and Mr Shahid for always having faith in me and my abilities. Last but certainly not the least; I would acknowledge Mr Rafiq Rangoonwala, CEO Cupola Pakistan, for going out of his way to facilitate all the internees in any way possible, and for inviting us on a splendid one of a kind "lunch with the CEO". His kind attitude has inspired us all. In the end I would say that what keeps Cupola going is its humble, fun loving and helpful people. May God bless Cupola!

This internship could not have been possible without the guidance of Mrs. Erum Inayat Ali. She entrusted me with a full fledged project on my first day which gave me a tremendous sense of responsibility. She was always there to help me through the glitches and suggested methods that always helped me understand my work better. She assisted me through out my internship period without curtailing my own creativity.
A big thank you to Mr. Khurram from the IT department to assist me and my fellow internees in our E marketing project. I was able to learn tremendously from his knowledge in website designing. I would also like to thank Mr. Major Sahib for providing me with the transport for my project, as I had to visit various KFC branches. He was kind and patient and tried his best with what he had. Also Mr. Shahan from the HR department for being there to answer all my questions and making me feel like a part of the company. I am also thankful to Mr. Aurangzeb in the marketing department for briefly teaching me sales analysis.
Lastly I would like to thank the CEO, Mr. Rafiq Rangoonwala for giving me and my fellow internees the opportunity to create the "Cupola E Marketing project". He was always there to answer all our queries and gave us complete autonomy over the task. This internship would not have been the same without his guidance.

CUPOLA PAKISTAN LIMITED is full of productive opportunities for the youth. My experience in CPL has been very constructive and helped me understand the world of practical work very well. Starting with the people whom I worked with; they are all professional, interesting, well qualified and very helpful. It took a very short time for me to adjust. The environment of this company is very creative, fun loving, enthusiastic and generous. My supervisor Ms. Asma Ashiq and staff members were very supportive.
During the whole period of my internship I grew more and more confident. I will always remember the people and the environment of CPL which I found exactly as I had expected it to be and if an opportunity will be given to me again I will definitely relive this experience.

The corporate yet friendly environment at Cupola taught me a lot of less. At the end of this 4 weeks internship, I can proudly say that I have learnt several lessons. The first and most important lesson for me was that you have to take initiatives. Opportunities don't come to you all the time, you have to go forward and grab them. I thought about some assignments, took responsibility and started working on them.
The Entrepreneurship conference organized by the Memon Professional Forum that I attended as a Cupola representative taught me how to come up with unique ideas and be successful, and provided me a chance to interact with the leaders of the corporate society.
There might be some learning’s which I haven’t recognized as yet but will enlighten on me once I start my professional career working in a corporate organization two years later. To sum up, Cupola has improved my interpersonal, networking and leadership skills.
The experiences at Cupola have taught me patience, respect for subordinates and have invoked the passion of creativity in me.

During my internship there were various projects that were given to me that included women forum, club cupola strategies, KFC Bahadurabad, Turkish airline, T-20 receipts, Facebook / sms marketing of Atif Aslam Concert, Chicky club members But the most important project that was assigned to me included My Super Store Survey of all the outlets and a report was to be submitted to the supervisor which included the major finding and also recommendation of how the store can be improved. The second most important project was E-marketing project that was given to us by the CEO in which we basically developed a website for the Cupola Pakistan Limited and made people aware of Cupola Pakistan through Facebook, blog and Linkedln.
The overall Internship was a great learning experience for me, as I got to learn a lot about My Super Store and KFC. I also collected first hand information from the customers who visited the store, interacting with them was a great experience
